At LIVO PG, we maintain a transparent and fair deposit refund process for all residents.
Security Deposit Refund Eligibility
Residents who complete their agreed accommodation period and clear all outstanding dues shall be eligible for a security deposit refund subject to room inspection and compliance with PG policies.
Room Inspection Process
Before processing any refund, LIVO PG management will conduct a detailed inspection of the room, furniture, fixtures, mattress, locker, keys, and other facilities provided during occupancy.
Refund Conditions
If the room, furniture, and provided facilities are found to be in good condition with no damages beyond normal wear and tear, the refundable security deposit shall be processed.
Applicable Deductions
The following deductions may be applied, where applicable:
- Police Verification Charges
- KYC & Documentation Charges
- Room Maintenance Charges
- Deep Cleaning Charges (if required)
- Lost Key or Access Device Charges
- Damage to Furniture, Fixtures, Mattress, Locker, Electrical Items, or Property
- Unpaid Rent or Outstanding Dues
- Any Other Approved Recovery Charges
Damage Assessment
In the event of any damage caused to the room, property, furniture, equipment, or facilities, the actual repair or replacement cost shall be deducted from the security deposit.
The remaining balance amount, if any, shall be refunded to the resident.
Refund Timeline
After successful room inspection and clearance of all dues, the eligible security deposit amount shall be refunded within 7 working days from the resident’s checkout date.
Non-Refundable Situations
The security deposit may be partially or fully adjusted against:
- Property damage
- Unpaid rent
- Outstanding charges
- Contract violations
- Unauthorized occupancy
- Missing inventory items
Management Decision
The final refund amount shall be determined after inspection and verification by LIVO PG management. A summary of applicable deductions, if any, may be shared with the resident upon request.
Acceptance
By taking accommodation at LIVO PG Wagholi Pune, the resident acknowledges and agrees to this Security Deposit Refund Policy.
